Membership in the Craig County Volunteer
Rescue Squad/EMS is open to any person
age 16 or over who has achieved the level
of EMT-B as taught by Western Virginia
Emergency Medical Services.
Members should possess a valid
Virginia Driver's License, a clean driving
record and have taken the
Emergency Vehicle Operating Course.

We have established a 6-month
OBSERVER PROGRAM for persons who
wish to "test the waters"
of Rescue/EMS work.
Persons interested in the Observer
Program must be currently enrolled in an
EMT-B class and obtain their CPR & EVOC
Certification within those 6 months.

We are currently forming an Auxiliary
for our crew. Interested persons
should be at least 14 years of age.

The squad is also in need of persons who
can volunteer time but are not interested
in becoming active members.  
We are especially looking for expertise in
bookkeeping, clerical, mechanical,
construction and related areas.  
Anyone who can volunteer a few hours
a day would be most welcome.
